Seasonal Ecologist

We are seeking a motivated Seasonal Ecologist to join our team at Keystone Environmental in Tetbury for a 2-3 month project focused on bat data analysis and GIS mapping. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to conservation efforts by analyzing bat population data, interpreting spatial information, and supporting ecological assessments.

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a passion for ecology, with a strong foundation in data analysis and geographic information systems (GIS). Key Requirements

  • Available for immediate start
  • Can travel to our office location in Tetbury
  • A degree or equivalent qualification (N/SVQ Level 5) in Ecology or a related subject; or hold equivalent relevant experience.
  • Your own transport.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Membership (or eligibility for membership) of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), or equivalent professional body with professional code of conduct.
  • Experience of ecological field survey work and/or analysis of ecological data.
  • Understanding of relevant UK environmental legislation.
