Retail Expert - John Lewis
Southampton
Part-Time Seasonal Opportunities Available
£13.36 per hour paid weekly
We're looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Experts to join a leading premium technology brand in Southampton.
This is an exciting seasonal opportunity starting immediately and running through to and including the Christmas period. We're seeking confident sales professionals who enjoy engaging with customers, demonstrating innovative products, and delivering exceptional retail experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.
Please note: Successful candidates must be available to work Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
Location: John Lewis, Southampton
Start Dates: Induction Mid September and then start
Shift Patterns Available:
- Part time; 13 hours per week-
- Saturday: 10.30am to 5.30pm &
- Sunday: 10.30am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and create memorable customer experiences.
- Drive sales performance in line with agreed targets and business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with the in-store team and provide ongoing support.
- Accurately record sales activity and performance via the company reporting platform.
- Maintain high standards across product displays and fixtures.
- Monitor and manage stock levels throughout the day.
- Act as a positive ambassador for a premium retail brand.
About You
- A confident and professional salesperson who enjoys a challenge.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Target-driven with a proven ability to achieve sales goals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience within retail, sales, or customer-facing environments.
- Luxury or premium retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to develop within the role.
- Available to work throughout the seasonal period, including Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
