The Role
As a Seasonal Sales Assistant / Driver, you will play a crucial part in bringing Christmas to life for our customers. Working alongside an energetic team, your mission is simple: help our customers discover and enjoy wines, beers, and spirits they’ll love this holiday season, while ensuring our store operations and deliveries run seamlessly.
Job Specifics
Location: Poole
Contract: Fixed-Term Seasonal Contract (ending Christmas Eve)
Hours: 24 Hours Per Week
Target Start Date: 17/11/2026
Driving Requirement: Delivery driving is a key part of this role! You must hold a full UK manual driving license (held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points) and feel confident driving one of our company vans.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends
Salary: £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities
As an ambassador for Majestic, you’ll help deliver a bespoke, memorable shopping experience for every customer. You will:
- Drive Sales & Service: Deliver world-class customer service that inspires loyalty and keeps customers coming back.
- Share the Passion: Enthusiastically guide customers through our range and recommend products tailored to their taste and celebrations.
- Keep Operations Flowing: Assist with daily store tasks, including processing stock deliveries, maintaining pristine merchandising standards, and proactively contacting customers regarding orders and promotions.
- Deliver the Magic: Safely and efficiently operate our company vans to deliver festive orders directly to local customers and businesses.
- Prioritise Safety: Follow all company safety standards, policies, and operational guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Customer First: A proven track record of delivering brilliant, welcoming customer service.
- Driven & Adaptable: A proactive, can-do attitude with the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Team Player: Ability to work well independently (out on deliveries) and collaboratively within the store team.
- Product Curiosity: Prior wine, beer, or spirits knowledge is a bonus, but a genuine enthusiasm to learn is what really matters!
- Requirements: A valid full UK manual driver’s license (held for 12+ months).
