Become a Christmas Sales Associate
For over 300 years, Fortnum & Mason has helped make Christmas truly magical. From festive feasts and luxury gifts to unforgettable experiences, we've been spreading joy through our iconic stores and exceptional customer service since 1707.
This Christmas, we're looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our team at The Royal Exchange and play a part in delivering exceptional service during our busiest and most exciting season.
Located in the heart of the City of London, our Royal Exchange store welcomes a diverse mix of customers, from busy professionals to international visitors seeking exceptional food, gifts and service. As a Christmas Sales Associate, you'll help create memorable festive experiences while bringing the Fortnum's story to life.
What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth, confidence and a touch of Fortnum's charm.
- Share your passion for luxury products, fine food and festive traditions.
- Create memorable experiences for customers throughout the Christmas season.
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Help maintain the beautiful standards that make Fortnum's so special.
- Contribute to achieving store sales targets while delivering a world-class customer experience.

What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or hospitality role, ideally within a luxury or premium environment.
- Positive, enthusiastic individuals who love working with people.
- Strong communication skills and a flair for storytelling.
- A keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Team players who thrive in a busy and dynamic environment.
- The ability to remain calm, adaptable and focused during peak trading periods.
Please note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to attend an Experience Day.
Important Information
- Our Christmas Sales Associates must be fully flexible to work 40 hours per week across 5 days out of 7, including weekends, on a mixture of early, middle and late shifts.
- Start dates will take place from September onwards, with most seasonal contracts ending in early January. There may be opportunities for high-performing colleagues to be considered for permanent roles following the festive season.
- Due to the nature of our peak trading period, we are unable to accommodate extended periods of holiday during the seasonal contract.

Recruitment Process
