Thrive Recruitment Group is looking for qualified Secondary Teachers in Exeter to provide flexible cover across local secondary schools.
We're interested in teachers from every subject background, whether you teach English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, PE, Technology, Arts or another secondary specialism.
Supply work can be as flexible as you need it to be.
What Will You Be Doing?
You'll provide cover when permanent teaching staff are absent, helping schools maintain continuity and ensuring students continue learning.

Depending On The Assignment, You'll
- Deliver lessons using work prepared by the school.
- Teach within your specialist subject when required.
- Provide general secondary classroom cover.
- Manage behaviour effectively.
- Keep pupils focused and engaged.
- Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Adapt quickly to different year groups and environments.
- Provide appropriate feedback following the lesson.
Who Are We Looking For?
We're Looking For Teachers Who
- Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have secondary teaching experience.
- Are confident managing a classroom independently.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Can quickly establish expectations with unfamiliar classes.
- Are dependable, adaptable, and professional.
