Teaching Tomorrow is recruiting adaptable and dependable Cover Teachers for secondary schools across West Oxfordshire. From a single day to a longer placement, every assignment offers fresh experiences without tying you to the same timetable week after week.
Choose the days that suit you and discover a range of supportive school communities throughout the area.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of secondary subjects
- Keep students focused, motivated and on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school’s policies
- Maintain a calm, safe and positive learning environment
- Provide useful feedback to the regular teacher or school leadership

You’ll need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Recent experience within a UK secondary school
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- The flexibility to adapt quickly to different schools, subjects and year groups

Teaching Tomorrow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants are subject to pre-employment checks including satisfactory references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. We offer payment via both Umbrella and PAYE Services.
Salary: 130 - 220 GBP Per day
