Job Title: Secondary History Teacher
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Pay Rate: GBP 150.00 - GBP 200.00 per day (DOE)
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time
About The Role
Bring history to life for young minds. Randstad Education is looking for a knowledgeable History Teacher to join dynamic humanities departments across secondary schools in Southend-on-Sea.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver well-structured History lessons across KS3 and KS4 GCSE specifications.
- Encourage critical evaluation of historical sources, debates, and chronological events.
- Provide clear feedback and marking in line with school policy to drive pupil progress.
- Support wider Humanities events and field trips where required.

Requirements
- QTS / QTLS qualification specialising in History or Humanities.
- Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management capabilities.
- Essential: Safeguarding, Prevent, and Allergy Training completed within the last 12 months (or a commitment to complete these prior to placement to meet full GCA clearance standards, which Randstad is compliant with).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness).
