Job Title: Secondary Maths Teacher (Key Stage 3 and 4)
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Pay Rate: GBP150.00 - GBP200.00 per day (DOE)
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time (Long-Term and Permanent Options)
About The Role
Randstad Education is currently partnering with secondary schools across Southend-on-Sea to recruit an inspiring and qualified Maths Teacher. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils build numerical confidence, problem-solving skills, and achieve top exam results.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on pupil development, progress, and attainment.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs, including SEN.
- Prepare Key Stage 4 students for GCSE examinations.

Requirements
- QTS / QTLS (or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK). ECTs are welcome.
- Strong subject knowledge across Foundation and Higher GCSE Mathematics.
- Essential: Safeguarding, Prevent, and Allergy Training completed within the last 12 months (or a commitment to complete these prior to placement to meet full GCA clearance standards, which Randstad is compliant with).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or commitment for one).
- Right to work in the UK.
