Key Duties : Secondary Sensory Teacher : Chiswick
- Deliver creative sensory:based lessons as a Secondary Sensory Teacher in Chiswick.
- Plan learning that meets each students educational and developmental needs.
- Use a range of sensory resources, communication strategies and practical activities.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Create a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment.
- Work alongside teaching assistants, therapists and parents to promote positive outcomes.
- Encourage communication, confidence and independence through meaningful learning experiences.
Requirements : Secondary Sensory Teacher : Chiswick
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching secondary:aged students.
- Knowledge of autism, complex learning needs or sensory learning is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Previous experience within an SEN setting is welcomed but not essential.
