We are seeking reliable and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to work with our partner secondary schools in and around Croydon.
This opportunity is ideal for qualified teachers seeking flexibility, a better work:life balance, or variety across local secondary settings without the added pressures of full:time planning and marking.
Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Delivery: Effectively deliver pre:set work across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), maintaining high academic engagement.
- Classroom Management: Establish positive learning environments and enforce school behaviour policies consistently.
- Assessment and Feedback: Mark work completed during lessons and leave clear handover notes for regular teaching staff.
- Inclusive Support: Adapt classroom delivery to support students with Additional Educational Needs (AEN / SEN).
- Safeguarding: Follow school policies to maintain child protection, safety, and welfare at all times.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status (Essential).
- Experience teaching the UK Secondary Curriculum (KS3 and KS4).
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).
- Full Right to Work in the UK (Note: Sponsorship is not available for this post).
- Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills.
- Two recent, professional education:based references.
