Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

For longer-term and permanent positions, there may also be opportunities to contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities and wider departmental responsibilities.

All Secondary Subjects Welcome

Thrive Recruitment Group would like to hear from teachers across the secondary curriculum, whether your specialism is English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, Computing, Business, PE, Art, Drama, Music, Design & Technology, Religious Education or another subject area.

Applications are welcomed from ECTs, experienced classroom teachers and educators returning to the profession.

Find the Type of Role That Fits Build Experience Through Supply

Supply teaching can expose you to different schools, departments and approaches while giving you flexibility over your working pattern.

It can also be a useful way to discover what you actually want from your next longer-term position.

Become Part of a School Through Long-Term Work

If you want greater consistency, long-term placements allow you to build relationships with pupils and colleagues, take greater ownership of learning and become an established member of a department.
