Employment Status: Full-Time
Salary: $86,600 - $147,048 (pending experience - includes Highly Accomplished (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) salary scale)

What We Are Looking For
Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of Emmaus College. These are full-time positions to commence Term 4, 2026 (6th October 2026), or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
We welcome applications from registered teachers who can teach in any or a combination of the following subjects.
- Religious Education (Senior)
- English

- Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton
The role of a teacher is to provide quality education and care for secondary school students at Emmaus College. The ideal candidate understands Catholic Education’s mission, can design differentiated teaching strategies, uses data to guide improvement and collaborates effectively with colleagues, parents and the community.
The teacher integrates Catholic values into the curriculum and fosters a diverse, positive learning environment while using various assessment strategies and providing feedback. Please refer to the Position Description link below for further details.

About Us
Emmaus College is a co-educational Catholic College in the heart of Rockhampton. The College offers a tailored journey designed to support students at pivotal points in their young lives. Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
- Australian work rights
