Teaching Assistant - Croydon Borough

September Start | £100-£110 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term

The Role

You will be joining the school as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4. The role requires someone who is confident, proactive and able to build positive relationships with young people.

  • Supporting pupils in lessons to help them stay focused and engaged
  • Providing targeted support to learners who need additional help
  • Assisting teachers with classroom routines, behaviour expectations and learning activities
  • Working with pupils who have SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, communication or learning needs)
  • Helping maintain a calm, structured and safe learning environment
  • Following safeguarding procedures consistently and professionally

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with pupils in a school or youth setting
  • SEN experience highly desirable
  • Confident supporting learning across a range of subjects
  • Reliable, calm, patient and able to work as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Fully available to start September
  • Able to commit to a full-time, long-term role

Pay

£100-£110 per day, paid weekly.
