At VWV, we know that great client service starts with great teamwork. That's why we're looking for a Legal Secretary to join our Residential Property team in London– someone who's organised, proactive and enjoys being at the heart of a busy team.

Whether you're preparing documents, supporting property transactions or helping colleagues stay organised, you'll play an important role in making sure everything runs smoothly for both our clients and our lawyers.

If you're someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing high-quality work and loves being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

Is This Your Next Career Move?

As a Legal Secretary, you'll provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to our Residential Property team, helping transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

You'll work closely with our lawyers and wider business support teams, becoming a trusted part of the department and helping to keep everything running efficiently behind the scenes.

No two days are the same. One day you might be preparing documents for a property completion, the next you'll be liaising with the Land Registry, organising diaries, helping with client enquiries or supporting the team with financial administration.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Support residential property transactions by preparing documents, opening new matters and helping keep cases progressing smoothly.
  • Produce accurate correspondence, reports and legal documents while managing electronic files and records.
  • Liaise with clients, colleagues, the Land Registry and other external organisations.
  • Help coordinate diaries, meetings, billing and other administrative tasks that keep the team running efficiently.
  • Carry out Land Registry searches, obtain property searches and support post-completion administration.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the team, providing flexible support whenever it's needed.

Who Are We Hoping Will Apply?

We're looking for someone who enjoys being organised, loves working as part of a team and takes real pride in delivering an excellent service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
