Secretarial & Administrative Support – 12-Month Maternity Cover
Location: City of London
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover)
We are currently recruiting for a Secretarial & Administrative Support professional to join a busy City-based professional services team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Secretary, Team Assistant, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Administrator who enjoys working in a varied client-facing environment and is confident supporting senior stakeholders.
You will provide professional and proactive secretarial and administrative support to Partners, Directors and Managers, working closely with the wider secretarial team to ensure the smooth running of the department and consistently high standards of service.

- Managing diaries, arranging meetings and coordinating room bookings.
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading professional documents, proposals, presentations, reports and correspondence.
- Supporting client onboarding and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes.
- Drafting routine correspondence and letters for Partner review and approval.
- Maintaining accurate electronic and physical client records, including scanning, filing and archiving.
- Coordinating UK and international travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Assisting with billing processes, Partner expenses and expense claims.
- Supporting month-end administrative activities.
- Providing wider administrative and secretarial support to Partners, Directors, Managers and the wider team.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Secretarial, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Team Assistant or Administrative position in professional services, accountancy or Law firm.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability when priorities or business requirements change.
- A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork.

Previous experience within professional services, accountancy, legal, consultancy or another client-focused environment would be advantageous.
