Hybrid - 2 days WFH
Office Location: Bristol / Leeds / Glasgow

Purpose of the Role

To provide support to the members of the Valuation Services team in the form of secretarial, administrative, PA, and reception duties. This person can be based in the Bristol, Leeds, or Glasgow office.

About the Team

The successful candidate will join a team of nine Support Staff who work closely together to provide assistance to approximately 40 valuers located across the country. Each team member is allocated a small number of valuers; however, responsibilities are often shared across the team, and cross-collaboration is actively encouraged.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Act as a point of contact for team members, senior management, clients, and other external partners.
  • Provide administrative support to management, including scheduling meetings, managing diaries, and making travel arrangements.
  • Deal with telephone and email enquiries.
  • Arrange in-house and offsite meetings.
  • Provide support to client-facing team members, assisting with client file set-up, compliance, and valuation inspections.
  • Raise fee accounts, update pipelines.
  • Maintain information on the Salesforce system.
  • Conduct statutory/regulatory enquiries for valuation instructions using Edozo and other online tools.
  • Prepare, format, and proof-read documents.
  • Prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Create ad-hoc letters.
  • Assist with the development of systems and document templates.

What We Are Looking For

The suitable candidate for this role would bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a secretarial or admin role.
  • A background in the property or legal industry, coupled with experience providing administrative support to a team of valuers, would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, numerate, audio typing, and copy typing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, highly organised, and self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be beneficial.
