Overview: A leading UK civil engineering contractor is recruiting two Section Engineers to work on a major highways infrastructure project in Oxfordshire. This role is suited to engineers with strong leadership and technical capability within highways delivery.
Highways experience is essential. Candidates from HS2-only backgrounds will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing sections of highways works from start to completion
- Coordinating Site Engineers and subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
- Overseeing quality assurance and technical compliance
- Liaising with site management and engineering teams

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Section Engineer on highways projects
- Minimum 2 years highways experience
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Own transport required
