The Role

Reporting to the Site Agent, as Section Engineer you'll take responsibility for managing a section of works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing engineering activities across your section of works.
  • Coordinating Site Engineers and supporting junior engineers where required.
  • Planning and delivering works in line with programme requirements.
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring quality assurance, inspections and technical compliance.
  • Preparing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and engineering documentation.
  • Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to drive successful project delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Section Engineer within civil engineering.
  • Highways, roads or major infrastructure experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge including setting out, QA and temporary works.
  • Ability to coordinate engineering teams and subcontractors.
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence.
