West Ruislip | 15 Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £475 - £525 per day (Umbrella)
I'm working with a leading main contractor delivering a high profile major infrastructure project in West London. Due to continued growth on the project, they're looking to appoint an experienced Section Engineer on a 15-month contract based from the site in West Ruislip.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with a well-established contractor, working on complex civil engineering works as part of a highly experienced delivery team.
About the Role
As Section Engineer, you'll take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of key work packages, ensuring works are completed to programme, specification and the highest quality standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
