Section Engineer - Earthworks

We're recruiting for a Section Engineer to join one of the UK's leading earthworks contractors on the Sizewell C project. This is an opportunity to take on greater responsibility while working on one of the UK's largest infrastructure schemes, with clear progression and long-term opportunities across future major projects.

The Role:
As a Project Engineer, you'll support the successful delivery of major earthworks packages by:
- Carrying out GNSS surveys and setting out earthworks.
- Reviewing and validating 3D machine control models.
- Producing engineering documentation including RAMS, ITPs, and QA records.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications to determine the safest and most efficient construction methods.
- Carrying out quality assurance checks and soil testing.
- Supporting short-term planning and coordinating with site management.
- Identifying commercial risks and reporting contractual events.
- Assisting in the development of junior engineers.
