We're looking for a Section Foreperson to join our United Utilities Framework based in Greater Manchester
Location: Eccles, Greater Manchester
Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Section Foreperson, you'll play a vital role in supervising site activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills whilst working on meaningful infrastructure projects that make a real difference to communities.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Section Foreperson, you'll be working within the our United Utilities Framework, supporting them in delivering high-quality construction projects across the region. Your day-to-day will include:
- Supervising daily activities within your assigned section, ensuring all work is completed safely and meets project specifications
- Coordinating site labour, plant, and materials to maintain smooth operations aligned with project schedules
- Monitoring progress and proactively communicating any delays or issues to the Site Manager
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to guide operatives and subcontractors effectively

What are we looking for?
This role of Section Foreperson is great for you if:
- You have experience in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
- You hold relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Construction, SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS card)
- You possess a strong understanding of construction methods and health and safety regulations
- You can read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- You have a full driving licence and flexibility to work across various locations
