Job Description

Shift

  • Nights (Purple)
  • 6pm-6am 4 on 4 off - Due to the shift rotation you will need to be available to work across every day of the week if relevant.

Salary

  • £16.78 per hour

Team And Role Overview

As a Section Leader, you will be the primary point of contact for operatives working within the different production areas, supporting them to deliver the requirements of that specific area whilst being the first point of contact for any escalation of issues to the team leaders and supervisors. You will work alongside the other section leaders to ensure good line flow and ensure good saturation of the line.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide first line support within your area of any issues that may arise, including but not limited to PPE, Station Ownership Cards, box blockages and tote out conveyors
  • Complete good to go checks daily in the correct timeframe
  • Help deliver and drive the GMP standards in your area
  • Providing feedback to team members and working with the agencies
  • Support in the delivery of operational KPIs and feedback any discrepancies or misses
  • Escalate any issues to team leaders and supervisors
  • Reporting of any near misses or hazards and be a key part in raising the safety awareness on site.

Who You Are

  • Previous experience in influencing/leading a team
  • Excellent Organisational Skills
  • Confident and Forward thinking team player
  • Knowledge of warehouse fulfillment and the importance of targets in this environment
  • A super-star team worker in order to ensure our customers receive their orders on time and in full!
  • Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and problem solving
  • High level of computer literacy, in particular google sheets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead team briefs
