We are looking for a Section Manager to join our project delivery team. Reporting to the Site Manager. You will be working on a Major voids project within the Wolverhampton area with an annual turnover of £6million.

Scope Of The Role

  • Manage a specific section of works from planning through to completion.
  • Ensure health & safety is promoted throughout the sites.
  • Oversee variations on orders.
  • Ensure activities are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor performance against project plans and take corrective action where required.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, labour returns, QA documentation, and progress reports.
  • Participate in site meetings with subcontractors and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor costs and support effective budget control within your area of responsibility.

About You Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation and site management practices.
  • Strong understanding and an all-round knowledge of the Build processes within VOIDS.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating construction activities on site.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and construction best practice.
  • Comfortable with travelling between sites.

Qualifications

  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Relevant construction management qualifications would be advantageous.
