Role Overview

Citi is seeking a Senior Supervisor candidate within Markets Operations supporting our Exchange Traded Derivatives, OTC Clearing, and FX Prime Brokerage business. Specifically, the role will have a high degree of focus on the setup, maintenance, and resolving of static data for Exchange Traded products (Listed Futures - ETD), accounts, and exchanges on markets where Citi provides clearing and brokerage services. This includes markets in North America, EMEA, and APAC regions. The role requires some knowledge in ETD products and experience on how these products are correctly set up. The candidate will assist in the setup and maintenance of static data in Citi systems.

The candidate will report into the Team leader responsible for EMEA Static Data and is expected to work with peer colleagues in Tampa, London, and Mumbai to assist with break resolution and static data setups and maintenance. The role will join a team of 20 people globally and will be at the individual contributor level with a high degree of autonomy on investigation, identifying, and tracking trends. There is a future significant systems upgrade where the candidate will be expected to contribute to design, testing (UAT), and roll-out.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
