Job Summary:
As a Vice President, Instruction Capture Client Data Exchange Product Owner in the Securities Services Product Development team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how client instructions are managed and delivered. You will work closely with a large-scale institutional client, leading the end-to-end product journey for a significant portfolio conversion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence product strategy, and help drive the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities. Together, we will deliver innovative solutions and set new standards for client data exchange.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the joint book of work for a major institutional client’s portfolio conversion, acting as the primary product contact
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with client operational, technology and middle office teams
- Translate complex client requirements into actionable product deliverables and influence roadmap priorities
- Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for Instruction Capture across multiple asset classes
- Author scope documents and business requirements, ensuring accurate lifecycle event capture across formats (SWIFT, XML, FIX, CSV)
- Identify and implement product improvements to enhance straight-through processing and reduce manual intervention
- Navigate and influence a complex matrix organisation, aligning stakeholders towards shared outcomes
- Lead cross-functional working groups and communicate product status, decisions and risks to senior stakeholders
- Negotiate prioritisation across competing roadmaps and manage development, testing and release cycles
- Partner with the Chief Data & Analytics Office to integrate data strategy, governance and AI capabilities
- Apply AI-driven analytics to improve validation logic and enhance client data exchange intelligence

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in product management or product ownership within financial services
- Deep understanding of post-trade operations, including trade lifecycle, settlements, corporate actions and asset servicing
- Background in asset management or investment management operations, supporting middle office functions
- Proven experience managing large-scale client onboarding or conversion engagements
- Ability to navigate and influence complex matrix organisations through expertise and relationships
- Strong data analysis skills and working knowledge of AI, machine learning and data analytics in financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and JIRA
- Understanding of software development life cycle in agile and waterfall methodologies
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in Instruction Capture with familiarity across SWIFT, FIX, XML and CSV formats
- Hands-on exposure to AI tools, data platforms or intelligent automation in financial services
- Experience with derivatives lifecycle management or expert systems for instruction capture
- Prior collaboration with a Chief Data & Analytics Office or equivalent data governance function
- Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment
- Additional professional certifications relevant to product management or data analytics
