Analyst or Associate in Structuring & Originations

Are you ready to make an impact in a client-facing business area? As an Analyst or Associate in Structuring & Originations, you will contribute to the origination and structuring of innovative financing solutions, collaborating with a wide selection of clients and internal teams. You will gain exposure to analytical risk analysis, commercial negotiation, and deal execution, developing your skills in a dynamic environment. If you are detail-oriented and eager to learn, we encourage you to apply.

As an Analyst or Associate in the Structuring & Originations team within the Securitised Products Group, you will support the origination and financing of portfolios of loans and receivables and assist in structuring and distributing bonds backed by a range of collateral types. You will work with clients including specialist lenders, FinTech companies, corporates, banks, hedge funds, private equity sponsors, and asset managers. You will contribute to risk analysis, cash flow modelling, commercial negotiation, and review of legal documentation, while supporting distribution efforts to institutional investors.

Note: This is not a sales or trading role; it is a private-side origination and structuring role with similarities to traditional Investment Banking roles.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
