Administrator Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is well-suited to someone who has basic IT Skills, can work alone as well as part of a team, and is looking to gain experience within a healthcare setting.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will have good negotiation skills and possess a customer-focused approach.
This role is subject to Enhanced DBS disclosure.
Responsibilities
- To provide a professional and effective security service tailored to meet the needs of Royal Bolton Hospital.
- To ensure the provision of an informed and managed Access Control Service while providing cover for the ID Badge service and parking in a courteous and efficient manner.
- To provide comprehensive and efficient administrative and clerical assistance and to work as part of a team reporting to the Head of Security.
- To remain calm and work efficiently in a changing environment. Dealing with a wide variety of tasks simultaneously, within time constraints and organisational needs whilst maintaining an effective administrative service.
- To assist the Head of Security with Access Control, Parking and Security administration functions within the department, to ensure that documents and records management is a priority and to identify and actively participate in the development of new methods the service is both cost-effective and efficient.
- To deal efficiently and effectively with a wide range of enquiries from within and outside the NHS whilst promoting and developing good relationships and a positive service image.

Qualifications, Experience And Skills
- General School Education
- Ability to carefully scrutinise/ pay attention to details
- Observation Skills: Ability to identify potential security risks and suspicious behaviour
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Customer-focused approach
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to work alone, as part of a team and use own initiative

Integrated Facilities Management (iFM) Bolton Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. We provide facilities management services at the Royal Bolton Hospital and the surrounding community health centres. Most inpatients will come into contact with iFM Bolton staff during their stay through our various services.
