Robert Half are partnering with a globally recognised consumer products and technology business that is investing heavily in its cyber security capability. As part of a growing Global Security Operations team, they're looking for an experienced Senior Security Analyst to help strengthen and mature their security operations function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, analyse and respond to security incidents across a global environment.
  • Monitor, tune and optimise security monitoring technologies, including SIEM and EDR platforms.
  • Lead and coordinate incident response activities, ensuring issues are investigated through to resolution.
  • Perform regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.
  • Partner with cross-functional IT and business teams to improve security controls and processes.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for security operations and incident response.
  • Support the evaluation, validation and implementation of new security tools and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of security policies, procedures and operational playbooks.
  • Help ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of enterprise systems and data.

Experience:

  • Proven experience working within a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or enterprise security operations environment.
  • Proven hands-on experience administering and optimising enterprise security technologies, including SIEM platforms, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Secure Web Gateways, Email Security solutions, and Cloud Security platforms.
  • Strong understanding of security operations, with experience in incident response, threat detection, investigation, and remediation.
  • Solid knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), TCP/IP, routing, switching, and packet analysis.
  • Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks through vulnerability management, security assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Ability to investigate and troubleshoot complex security incidents across cloud, network, and endpoint environments.
  • Experience investigating and responding to complex security incidents.
  • Scripting or automation experience using Python, PowerShell or similar.

Contract:

  • Initial 6-month contract with a genuine opportunity to move into a permanent role.
