Security Analyst
Location: London (with willingness to travel) or potentially Edinburgh
Day Rate: £450–£500 per day Inside IR35
Contract: 3 months initially, with potential for extension
Industry: Banking
We’re looking for a Security Analyst to join a banking client during a high-volume period of regulatory change and a major banking integration programme.
This will be providing the final governance step for IT change: evidencing that security standards, controls, and policies have been properly met before change activity is signed off.
You'll work alongside a Security Consultancy team who define and secure the technical requirements — your role is to track, coordinate, and evidence that those requirements are satisfied across live projects.

- General working knowledge of security concepts, frameworks, and controls.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing and influencing stakeholders across different levels and functions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and competing priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
- A background in Business Analysis, governance, service assurance, PMO, or a similar coordination-focused role.
- Ability to review information and evidence against requirements and identify any gaps or outstanding actions.
- Familiarity with the NIST framework.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar IT service/change management tools.
- Previous experience within banking, financial services, or another regulated environment.
- Experience working across IT change, governance, risk, or control processes.
- Exposure to security assurance or control frameworks.
