Information Security Architect
Contract | £650 - £700 per day | Inside IR35
Location: Remote - 1 day per quarter onsite in London
Duration: 6 months
We're supporting a leading organisation in its search for an experienced Information Security Architect. Sitting within the Security Architecture function, you'll design, assess and oversee secure technical solutions, working closely with technology, security and business teams to embed security from the earliest stages of design through to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, review and implement secure technical solutions aligned to the information security strategy.
- Lead technical risk assessments across projects and change initiatives, partnering with Project Management, GRC, Technical Architecture, Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams.
- Develop and manage risk remediation plans, balancing business priorities with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on security matters to security, IT and business teams.
- Represent Information Security at technical design authority forums, reviewing and approving design documentation.
- Develop and maintain security architecture patterns, standards and technical specifications.
- Evaluate vendor solutions and recommend improvements to security operations, service quality and cost efficiency.

- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and simply.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a consultative approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven leadership within security or architecture environments.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure.
