Security Architect Role

As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining secure technical environments that protect critical systems, data, and services. This position focuses on defining security architectures, reviewing existing controls, and ensuring that security design principles are consistently applied across infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess risks, align solutions with organizational policies, and maintain a coherent security posture. The role requires systematic thinking, clear technical documentation, and the ability to support decision-making with structured analysis.

What You Will Do?

  • Design security architectures that consider network, infrastructure, and application components in a structured, well-documented, and consistently applied manner.
  • Analyze existing security controls and configurations to identify gaps, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement within defined technical environments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align security architecture decisions with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and operational constraints.
  • Document security designs, risk assessments, and decision rationales in clear, structured technical formats that support future audits and reviews.
  • Contribute to the definition of security standards and guidelines that promote consistent implementation and maintenance of security controls across systems.

Your Skills

  • Ability to design and describe technical security architectures in a clear, systematic, and logically consistent manner for diverse audiences.
  • Capability to analyze existing systems and controls to identify security risks using structured assessment methods and documented criteria.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and explain security decisions in concise, non-promotional, and technically accurate language.
  • Competence in producing detailed technical documentation that supports audits, reviews, and long-term maintenance of security architectures.
  • Methodical approach to applying security principles and standards consistently across infrastructure, applications, and supporting processes.
