Job Title: Security Architect
Department: Security
Purpose
To design, review, and implement robust security architectures, ensuring the protection of critical systems, data, and infrastructure while aligning with modern Zero Trust principles and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Essential
- CISSP, CISM, Security+, or an equivalent professional security qualification.
Desirable
- Additional architecture or Microsoft security certifications.

Knowledge
Essential
- Strong knowledge of cyber security architecture, Microsoft security technologies, identity and access management (IAM), and Zero Trust principles.
Desirable
- Knowledge of healthcare security and compliance requirements.
Technical & Work-Based Skills
Essential
- Proficiency in security assessments, architecture/design reviews, and vulnerability management.
Desirable
- Experience in developing comprehensive security remediation strategies.

Essential
- Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement, and written/verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- Proven track record of influencing technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience
Essential
- Extensive experience operating as a Security Architect, including within regulated environments.
Desirable
- Background or previous experience within the healthcare or public sector.
