Security Architect | Contract | Gloucestershire (Hybrid) | Up to £900/day Inside IR35
A well-established financial services firm is looking for an experienced Security Architect to shape and deliver its security architecture during a period of significant investment in technology and security.
You’ll own security design on a portfolio of dedicated security projects. You’ll also act as a trusted advisor across the wider business, which means real influence over how security is built into the organisation rather than bolted on afterwards.
Key details
- Rate: Up to £900 per day, inside IR35 (umbrella)
- Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week on site in Gloucestershire
- Start: Immediate
- Duration: Initial contract, duration to be confirmed

The role
- Lead security architecture across a portfolio of dedicated security projects, from design through to delivery
- Provide expert security advisory and design input to wider business and technology programmes
- Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architecture to define security standards and embed them into solution designs
About you
- An accomplished Security Architect with a strong track record of delivery
- Experience in financial services or another regulated environment, with a clear grasp of the risk and compliance landscape
- Able to translate security standards into practical, adoptable designs
- A confident communicator who earns credibility with senior stakeholders and engineering teams alike
- AWS cloud and infrastructure security experience is highly desirable
