Senior Security Architect | Cloud Security & Cyber Consulting

£70,000 - £75,000 base + package
Remote-first with occasional travel

Take ownership of complex security architecture projects and help clients turn challenging security requirements into practical technical decisions.

We’re recruiting a Senior Security Architect for an established cybersecurity consultancy, supporting clients across complex, regulated and security-sensitive environments. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, shape secure solutions and guide technology change. This is a role that combines hands-on architecture expertise with the opportunity to influence decisions, build trusted relationships and see your recommendations put into practice.

Why consider the move?

  • You’ll have end-to-end architecture ownership, direct access to client stakeholders and variety across enterprise environments.
  • Working alongside other cybersecurity specialists, you’ll tackle different technologies, business priorities and levels of security maturity, giving you scope to use your strengths and broaden your experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
