Role Purpose

At Vodafone, our Cyber Security, Technology Strategy, Architecture and Governance function plays a central role in enabling a secure, resilient, and future-ready organisation. Within this the Security Architecture team leads the definition of technical security policy, security vendor selection, security guidance and Cyber Security system designs.

The Security Architect acts as a technical generalist at Business level, responsible for delivering strategic technology security input to major programmes, planning controls to counter emerging threats and evolving technology and contributing to a blueprint of technical controls with corresponding roadmaps.

This role will have a focus on regulation, ensuring that Vodafone's networks, platforms, systems, and services are Architected and Designed inline with the UK Telecommunications Security Act (TSA) and Telecommunications Security Requirements (TSRs).

What you’ll do

Impact on the business:

  • Opportunity to deliver technology security input to major programmes to ensure security is built into designs, develop security controls to counter emerging threats with evolving technology that will influence the security strategy.

Leadership and teamwork:

  • This is a Group level role that has the opportunity to impact and influence across Vodafone global central platforms and throughout our Local Markets. They will have opportunity to interact with all levels of the business across Leadership and Engineering.

Who you are

  • Strong Technical background in Cyber Security, Consultancy Skills delivered in culturally aware global corporate environments
  • Excellent communication capabilities to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios
  • A proven track record of being able to manage stakeholders, the ability to build rapport quickly and the gravitas to push back in the appropriate manner when required

Working knowledge of UK Telecommunications Security Act (TSA)

Desired:

  • Problem solving skills, Strong analysis skills, Technical Leadership
  • CISSP, TOGAF, SABSA
  • Knowledge of security standards – NCSC, ISO, NIST, CIS, OWASP Top 10
  • Network, Data Centre, Cloud, Security Operations, Infosec
  • SAFe(Scaled Agile) Agile (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Architect), Process Improvement, Technical Authoring
