Senior Security Architect
Hybrid - Central London x 2 per week
A senior opportunity for an experienced Security Architect to shape and drive enterprise-wide cyber strategy across a complex, multinational organisation.
Working within a high-performing technology function, you'll lead the direction of cyber controls across digital platforms, infrastructure, networking, cloud services and information protection. You'll influence strategic decision making, define architectural guardrails and ensure security is embedded into technology investment, transformation and innovation programmes.
You'll also play a central role in the safe adoption of AI, establishing standards and governance around emerging technologies while helping evolve the organisation's wider information protection capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the long-term cyber architecture vision and target state.
- Act as the lead subject matter expert for technical security across the business.
- Establish frameworks, blueprints and guardrails for secure technology delivery.
- Drive adoption of modern security approaches including identity-centric and perimeterless security models.
- Shape the organisation's approach to AI adoption, including oversight of emerging technology risks.
- Provide guidance on information protection, cryptography, access management and cloud-based services.
- Partner with risk, assurance and governance teams to strengthen organisational resilience.
- Lead security input into solution reviews, technology programmes and transformation initiatives.
- Produce and maintain architecture artefacts, standards and technology roadmaps.

Background Required
- Significant experience in Security Architecture within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud, infrastructure, networking and application security.
- Experience designing and implementing modern cyber operating models.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure and hybrid technology estates.
- Knowledge of identity management, security monitoring, threat protection and data safeguarding.
- Understanding of AI-related threats and appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with recognised control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.

Qualifications
- CISSP preferred.
- CISM, SABSA and TOGAF certifications advantageous.
- Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience within financial services is very beneficial.
