Security Architect (Cryptography) – Contract
Cheshire – Hybrid Working
Initial 6-month contract
We’re looking for an experienced Security Architect (Cryptography) to join a major enterprise security transformation, helping modernise how cryptography is consumed across applications, infrastructure and cloud services.
You’ll work at the intersection of cryptographic architecture and hands-on engineering, building APIs, automating key and certificate management, integrating cryptographic services into CI/CD pipelines and helping prepare a large-scale technology estate for post-quantum cryptography.

We’re looking for experience across:
- Cryptography, encryption, hashing, signing, key exchange & TLS
- PKI, certificates & key management
- Python, PowerShell, Java or Go
- Ansible / automation
- APIs & systems integration
- CI/CD, IaC & DevSecOps
- AWS, Azure or GCP
- Post-quantum cryptography / crypto-agility – including ML-KEM & ML-DSA
