Security Architect – Consultant
UK Wide | Hybrid | Permanent | £55,000–£65,000 | Security Clearance
I’m working with a leading National Security and Defence organisation that is looking for a Security Architect to join at Consultant level.
This is an opportunity to work across complex technology environments, helping organisations build security into their architecture rather than treating it as an afterthought.
The Role
You’ll help shape secure technology solutions from the early design stages through to implementation. You’ll assess existing environments, identify security considerations and work with engineering and architecture teams to make sure solutions are designed with appropriate security controls and principles in place.
The role will involve working closely with clients and technical stakeholders, so you’ll need to be comfortable explaining security decisions, challenging designs where required and contributing to wider architecture discussions.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
