I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Manager / Security Architect to join a leading professional services organisation, working on some of the UK’s most high-profile Defence, Security and Government programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Architect to work on complex, nationally significant programmes while advising senior stakeholders and shaping secure technology solutions.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing secure technical architectures and security patterns.
  • Translating business and security requirements into practical solutions.
  • Leading technical engagements and working with specialist security teams.
  • Advising senior stakeholders and communicating complex security decisions.
  • Conducting security, risk and vulnerability assessments.
  • Developing architectures aligned with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Working with vendors and third parties to secure systems and data exchanges.
  • Supporting cloud security, DevSecOps and CI/CD initiatives.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging cyber threats and technologies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar senior security role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST and CIS frameworks.
  • Experience with TOGAF or SABSA.
  • Threat and risk modelling experience.
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, authentication and access controls.
  • Experience with security technologies including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • Cloud security experience across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD and automated deployment.
  • Experience working with Government or Defence organisations.
  • Knowledge of UK Government security requirements such as Secure by Design and JSP 440.
  • CISSP or equivalent security qualification is desirable.
