Security Architect Consultant
Location: Hybrid UK (minimum 2 days per week on client site or in office)
Salary: £45,000 - £85,000 + Benefits
We're partnering with a leading innovation and technology consultancy that helps organisations solve complex challenges across multiple industries, including defence, government, financial services, energy, health, and transport.
They are looking for Security Architects to join their growing Digital & Data practice, working on large-scale transformation programmes and helping clients design and implement secure, resilient technology solutions.
The Role
As a Security Architect Consultant, you'll play a key role in shaping end-to-end security architectures for high-profile client engagements. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams of engineers, consultants, and technical specialists to design secure systems, mitigate risk, and deliver innovative security solutions.
This role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects and technologies, providing excellent opportunities to broaden your technical expertise and develop your career within a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Define and deliver end-to-end security architecture across complex projects and programmes.
- Produce conceptual, logical, and implementation architecture designs.
- Design secure system architectures using recognised security patterns and principles.
- Assess and improve existing client security controls and architectures.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify risks and deliver practical security solutions.
- Work within agile delivery teams across a variety of client engagements.
- Participate in whiteboarding and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Support the delivery of secure digital transformation initiatives across multiple sectors.
What We're Looking For
- Strong foundation in information security principles and practices.
- Experience delivering security architecture solutions for large-scale infrastructure, integration, or transformation projects.
- Relevant industry certifications such as:
- CISSP
- CISM
- TOGAF
- SABSA
- IISP / CCP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Comfortable working within agile, cross-functional teams.
