Cloud Security Architect (Azure)
Permanent - £100,000 + Discretionary Bonus
Hybrid working - x2 days per week in office (Central London)
Spencer rose are partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation who are on the look out for a Cloud Security Architect on a permanent basis, based in Central London. Within this role, the Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for providing the High Level Designs and Documentation across their Azure Cloud infrastructure estate.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Technology and Cloud Operations, and the Information and Cyber Security Teams to define and maintain the cloud security architecture.
- Partner with enterprise, solution, data and AI architects to create cohesive and secure end-to-end designs.
- Define and evolve cloud security architecture, including reference architectures, reusable patterns and security controls across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments.
- Provide architectural assurance for cloud-based solutions, ensuring security, resilience and compliance are incorporated from the outset.
- Lead and contribute to security design reviews and governance activities through the Technology Design Authority.
- Promote secure-by-design principles across all technology initiatives.

Skills/Experience

- Strong experience designing and assuring cloud security architectures (Ideally Azure) in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cloud security tooling, posture management and threat detection approaches.
- Must have knowledge of Azure Cloud Architecture best practice.
- Previous experience within Security Assurance, conducting Risk Assessments and Threat Modelling.
