Are you a Security Architect with experience leading the secure adoption of Microsoft and AI centred technologies for large organisations?
We are working with a multi-£bn bluechip organisation who have an ambitious AI-enabled technology transformation roadmap ahead, to appoint their first dedicated Security Architect to ensure all solutions selection and design decisions have the appropriate security built in from the start.
Working closely with the CISO and Architecture team, you’ll play a key role in maturing the organisation’s Security Architecture capability, influencing both enterprise technology strategy and the design of solutions across major change programmes.

There is real scope to shape the function here: establishing standards, challenging design decisions and defining how security supports an ambitious technology roadmap.
The role:
- Shape the enterprise security architecture roadmap, aligned to business and technology strategy.
- Lead secure solution design across Microsoft platforms, cloud, SaaS, applications and integrations.
- Establish practical, reusable architecture standards and patterns.
- Partner with architects, engineers and delivery teams to embed security early in programmes.
- Influence senior stakeholders and guide technology decisions across the business.

What we're looking for:
- Strong experience across both enterprise and solution-level Security Architecture.
- Microsoft platforms experience is essential, with a strong understanding of Azure, identity and cloud security.
- Experience shaping architecture standards and improving capability within a complex organisation.
- The ability to balance security requirements with commercial priorities and delivery.
- Confidence working with senior leaders while remaining close to the detail of solution design.
