Location: UK Wide (Home-Based/Hybrid) Travel: National travel required, including regular site visits and audits Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday
We're looking for an experienced Security Assurance Manager to play a key role in ensuring the safety, compliance and performance of electronic security systems across a large, complex government contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nationally significant operation where you'll act as the technical authority for electronic security systems, helping to shape standards, drive compliance and deliver assurance across a diverse portfolio of sites. Working alongside the existing Security Lead, you'll provide expert guidance on CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and wider security technologies, ensuring systems remain compliant, effective and fit for purpose.
No two days are the same. You'll engage with senior stakeholders, conduct site audits, influence security strategy and help deliver continuous improvement across one of the UK's largest facilities management contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the UK&I Subject Matter Expert for electronic security systems.
- Develop, implement and maintain security governance, policies, procedures and technical standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, British Standards, client requirements and internal governance frameworks.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams, account managers and senior stakeholders.
- Review security system designs, maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle plans.
- Lead audits, inspections and assurance reviews across multiple sites.
- Monitor security service performance and compliance against contractual requirements and SLAs.
- Manage and oversee specialist contractors and third-party service providers.
- Investigate security incidents, system failures and vulnerabilities, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Support client audits and represent the business during compliance reviews and governance meetings.
- Maintain oversight of security asset management, maintenance records and compliance reporting.
- Identify risks, recommend improvements and drive performance across the security workstream.

What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience within electronic security systems and security compliance environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- CCTV systems
- Access Control systems
- Intruder Alarm systems
- Experience auditing, assuring or managing security service delivery.
- Proven ability to assess security risks and implement effective control measures.
- Experience working to service level agreements and contractual performance measures.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing corrective actions, compliance programmes and audit findings.
- Experience managing specialist security contractors and suppliers.
- Strong understanding of:
- British Standards relating to electronic security
- NSI Codes of Practice
- NPCC requirements
- SFG20 maintenance standards
- Data protection requirements relating to CCTV and security data
- Security legislation and governance frameworks
