Where you’ll work with enterprise customers to design and deliver secure, modern technology solutions.
As a Security Consultant
You’ll play a key role in helping organisations strengthen their identity and security capabilities across both cloud and on-premises environments. You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and technical specialists, taking part in challenging customer engagements and helping shape solutions across Identity Security, Privileged Identity, Identity Governance, SSO, MFA, SASE/SSE and security detection.
This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with consultancy skills, acting as a trusted advisor to customers while helping Computacenter continue to develop its security consultancy capabilities.
What you’ll do
- Lead or contribute to enterprise-level security projects, from initial requirements and design through to implementation and optimisation.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Identity Security, representing Computacenter confidently with customer stakeholders.
- Deliver customer-facing consultancy engagements, including security workshops, reviews, assessments and gap analysis.
- Design and implement secure architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Work across Identity Security disciplines including Identity and Access Management, Privileged Identity, Identity Governance, SSO and MFA.
- Contribute to security solutions spanning SASE/SSE and security detection technologies.
- Develop high-quality technical documentation, designs and outcome-based deliverables.
- Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers and key stakeholders.
- Evaluate current and emerging security technologies and identify opportunities to enhance customer solutions.
- Support the continuous development of Computacenter’s security consultancy capability, sharing knowledge, best practice and lessons learned.
- Stay up to date with evolving security threats, technologies, standards and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll need
- Strong professional background in IT security, with proven experience delivering enterprise security solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide security architectures and deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Strong knowledge of Identity Security, including Identity and Access Management, Identity Governance, Privileged Identity, SSO and MFA.
- Experience delivering advisory-style consultancy, including customer workshops, security reviews and gap analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts clearly.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers and confidently representing a consultancy organisation.
- Relevant vendor security qualifications or accreditations.
- Good understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape affecting information and identity security.
- Ability to work independently as an engagement lead or collaboratively as part of a wider consultancy team.
- SC Clearance would be desirable.
