Security Consultant - H&PS Focus

Location: Cheltenham/Bristol (Remote-first, approx 2 days a month in office)

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Package

NOTE: Due to the nature of the work, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).

We're seeking a Security Consultant to help organisations reduce cyber risk across critical projects, working with modern technologies and diverse technical environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Embed security requirements and controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct threat modelling activities and identify appropriate security controls.
• Support risk assessments, assurance activities, and security governance processes.
• Define logging, monitoring, and detection requirements for operational environments.
• Develop security requirements for suppliers, procurement activities, and third-party engagements.
• Translate security standards, regulations, and policies into practical delivery requirements.
• Validate security controls through testing, configuration reviews, and technical investigations.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure security is integrated from design through to operation.
