OT Cyber Security Consultant
Location: Belfast – Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 – £90,000 + benefits + bonus
Level: Consultant / Senior Consultant
Are you an experienced OT Cyber Security professional looking to work on complex, high-impact projects across critical infrastructure?
We’re working with a leading technology and consulting organisation that brings together strategists, engineers, consultants and digital experts to solve some of the most complex challenges facing organisations today.
As part of their growing Digital & Data community, you’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to help clients secure their Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems, supporting organisations across critical infrastructure and highly regulated sectors.
The role
You’ll work closely with clients to understand their OT environments, identify cyber security risks and develop practical security strategies and architectures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on OT and industrial cyber security across complex environments.
- Assessing and managing cyber security risks across SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, DCS and industrial control systems.
- Designing and implementing OT security architectures and monitoring solutions.
- Supporting clients across sectors including energy, utilities, water, oil & gas, transport and wider critical infrastructure.
- Working with IoT and Industrial IoT technologies and environments.
- Applying relevant security frameworks and standards, including IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27005, NIS/CAF and NERC CIP.
- Working directly with senior client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate technical challenges into practical solutions.
- Contributing to wider consulting engagements, working collaboratively with engineering, technology and strategy teams.
- Supporting business development and helping identify opportunities to deliver further value for clients.

About you
We’re looking for someone with strong experience across OT / ICS cyber security, ideally gained within critical infrastructure or another highly regulated industrial environment. You’ll ideally have experience with:
- OT / ICS Cyber Security
- SCADA, PLCs, RTUs or Distributed Control Systems
- Industrial networks and data communications
- OT security architecture and risk management
- Industrial cyber security monitoring
- IoT / IIoT environments
- Critical infrastructure environments
- Standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001/27005 or NIS/CAF
