OT Cyber Security Consultant

Location: Belfast – Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 – £90,000 + benefits + bonus
Level: Consultant / Senior Consultant

Are you an experienced OT Cyber Security professional looking to work on complex, high-impact projects across critical infrastructure?

We’re working with a leading technology and consulting organisation that brings together strategists, engineers, consultants and digital experts to solve some of the most complex challenges facing organisations today.

As part of their growing Digital & Data community, you’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to help clients secure their Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems, supporting organisations across critical infrastructure and highly regulated sectors.

The role

You’ll work closely with clients to understand their OT environments, identify cyber security risks and develop practical security strategies and architectures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on OT and industrial cyber security across complex environments.
  • Assessing and managing cyber security risks across SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, DCS and industrial control systems.
  • Designing and implementing OT security architectures and monitoring solutions.
  • Supporting clients across sectors including energy, utilities, water, oil & gas, transport and wider critical infrastructure.
  • Working with IoT and Industrial IoT technologies and environments.
  • Applying relevant security frameworks and standards, including IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27005, NIS/CAF and NERC CIP.
  • Working directly with senior client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate technical challenges into practical solutions.
  • Contributing to wider consulting engagements, working collaboratively with engineering, technology and strategy teams.
  • Supporting business development and helping identify opportunities to deliver further value for clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
