About the Role:
As a Security Consulting Consultant in the Products Security industry group, you will be responsible for overseeing security-related activities at one of our clients in areas such as Retail, Consumer Goods, Industrials and Life Sciences.
You will support clients in addressing cybersecurity challenges by combining technical, business and industry knowledge across a range of security domains.
We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more cybersecurity domains and an interest in developing industry and commercial skills.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct cybersecurity strategy assessments, maturity and readiness evaluations, and discovery workshops using industry frameworks and compliance mandates
- Lead security workstreams and deliver agreed outcomes, managing activities, dependencies and quality throughout delivery.
- Perform detailed analysis of risks, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations aligned with industry standards
- Create high-quality deliverables including threat and risk assessments, security policies, procedures, and compliance evidence
- Work collaboratively with project teams to embed security controls and risk management practices into technology solutions from design through to operation.
- Support design and implementation of robust cybersecurity solutions tailored to client environments and risk profiles
- Stay current on emerging threats, AI-driven security solutions, and regulatory developments, contributing insights to shape client strategies
- Contribute to sales pursuits, proposals, and commercial responses
- Develop strong industry-specific knowledge to help clients define, implement, and run tailored security solutions.
- Develop expertise in a wide range of innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies across all Security offerings.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- 3–5 years of work experience in Cyber Security
- Proven experience in consultancy projects and/ or large organizations
- Relevant experience in one of these domains: GRC, IAM, Cloud Security, Application Security, Operational Technology (OT) security and Security Operations.
- Familiarity with at least one recognised security framework
- Experience delivering cybersecurity assessments, security initiatives or technical implementation projects.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across security, technology and business functions.
- Experience producing client-facing deliverables, reports, presentations and recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed security recommendations based on technical evidence.
- High attention to detail and rigorous logical thinking ability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage client stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across the UK as projects require
Set yourself apart:
- Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP or equivalent.
- Experience in one of these sectors: Retail, Consumer Goods, Industrials or Life Sciences.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding how cybersecurity supports business outcomes.
- Familiarity with AI security risks, AI-enabled security capabilities, and other emerging technologies and practices, with an understanding of how they are influencing the cybersecurity landscape.
