Security Control Room Operator
Our client is recruiting for a Security Control Room Operator to join their growing team based in a high-tech control room in Camberley.
You will act as the first point of contact during live security incidents, monitoring CCTV systems, responding to alarm activations, assessing threats, and coordinating mobile patrols, K9 teams, and emergency services. This is a fast-paced role requiring calm decision-making and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring live CCTV feeds across prestigious client sites
- Responding to alarm activations and assessing threats
- Logging and reporting incidents accurately
- Coordinating mobile patrols, K9 teams, and emergency services
- Scheduling resources for static sites
- Communicating clearly with clients, team members, and authorities
- Staying cool under pressure - and keeping others calm too

About the Ideal Candidate
- SIA Front-Line License – Essential (CCTV Preferred)
- Previous experience in a Control room, Response Centre, or ARC – 1 year required
- An eye for detail and the ability to follow strict protocols
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Confidence with computer systems and the ability to learn new tech
- A team player with integrity, flexibility, and professionalism
- Reliability and punctuality as standard
- Strong technical capabilities
