Pay: £16.75 per hour
Join Our Team as a Security Control Room Officer
We are looking for a Security Control Room Officer who will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across the premises. You are responsible for protecting the premises, assets, and people by effectively monitoring of security systems with coordinating on-site security operations and responding to incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
About The Role
As a Security Control Room Officer you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring cathedral operations
- Reviewing and understanding CCTV data and other communication systems.
- Understanding and implementing safety protocols during security breaches, fire and other emergencies.
- Liaising with emergency services in a clear, calm and efficient manner.
- Creating comprehensive and accurate logs for all relevant security activities
- Co-ordinating security personnel around the site
- Provide a visible & welcoming security presence on and around the site with emphasis on access and egress controls

What We Are Looking For
- SIA CCTV Licence
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Good IT Skills to work on reporting systems, CCTV, asset management systems, emails, printing, patrol systems, MS office (word, excel, PowerPoint), Fire Panel, and other internal systems.
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Main strong situational awareness and can remain calm with high-pressure incidents.
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
