Lead Data Scientist
We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to design, engineer, and operationalize enterprise Security Knowledge Graphs. This role combines data science, graph engineering, cybersecurity analytics, and technical leadership to enable attack-path analysis, threat investigation, exposure prioritization, GraphRAG, and AI-assisted security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Security Knowledge Graphs, including ontology, taxonomy, entity/relationship models, and lifecycle standards.
- Build production-grade ingestion pipelines from SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, vulnerability scanners, cloud security platforms, and threat intelligence feeds.
- Develop entity extraction, identity resolution, schema mapping, relationship inference, and graph enrichment capabilities.
- Apply graph analytics for attack paths, privilege escalation, lateral movement, toxic combinations, and vulnerability prioritization.
- Design and evaluate graph algorithms and ML models (centrality, clustering, anomaly detection, embeddings, GNNs).
- Implement GraphRAG and knowledge-grounded assistants that combine graph traversal, vector retrieval, structured evidence, and LLM reasoning.
- Partner with SOC, threat intelligence, IAM, vulnerability management, and cloud security teams to deliver reusable graph-powered capabilities.
- Mentor engineers and data scientists while leading technical reviews, coding standards, and production-readiness gates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
